Privacy Policy

We know privacy policies are usually walls of text nobody reads. This one is different. We've written it in plain language because we think you deserve to know exactly what we do with your data.

Who we are

Ouvi Intelligence, Inc. (“Ouvi”) operates the Ouvi platform, an AI-powered fan intelligence service for music artists. We're a small, early-stage team. Our contact email is hello@getouvi.com.

What data we collect

We collect only what we need to make Ouvi work:

  • Your email address, when you join the waitlist or sign up.
  • OAuth access tokens for the platforms you connect (Spotify, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Apple Music, X). These are short-lived tokens that let Ouvi read your analytics data. We never store your passwords.
  • The questions you ask Ouvi and the responses we generate, for the purpose of improving the product.
  • A session cookie that keeps you logged in for 7 days.

What we do not collect

  • Your passwords. Ever.
  • Your fans' personal information. We access aggregated artist analytics data only.
  • Payment information. We don't handle payments yet.

How we use your data

We use your data to:

  • Answer the questions you ask about your fanbase.
  • Send you product updates if you're on the waitlist (you can unsubscribe anytime).
  • Improve the product and refine our AI using anonymized usage data.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Full stop.

Read-only access

When you connect your platforms, Ouvi only reads your data. We never post, publish, or modify anything on your accounts. We have read-only access and we intend to keep it that way.

Where your data lives

During beta, usage logs are stored in Google Sheets. Waitlist emails are stored in Google Sheets. OAuth tokens are stored in session cookies on your device. We use Vercel for hosting. As we grow, we will migrate to proper database infrastructure and update this policy accordingly.

How long we keep your data

Waitlist emails: until you ask us to remove them. OAuth tokens: expire after 7 days of inactivity or when you log out.

Usage logs (the questions you ask and the answers we generate): we keep these indefinitely, but we anonymize them. That means we strip out anything that could identify you and use what's left to improve Ouvi. We never delete this data outright because it helps us build a better product.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. Email hello@getouvi.comand we'll take care of it within 30 days. You can disconnect your platforms at any time from within Ouvi or directly from each platform's settings.

Cookies

We use one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you logged in. That's it. No tracking cookies. No ad pixels. No third-party analytics cookies beyond GA4 (Google Analytics), which we use to understand how people use the landing page.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll email you if you're on the waitlist. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
